Toursprung Brochures is a distribution platform for PDFs that we originally developed for the Austrian National Tourism Board. You can see it in operation at brochures.austria.info.
Make the large amount of PDF brochures in your organisation available to your guests and users
- Upload all your PDFs into the system
- Add Youtube videos to the catalogue as well
- Guests can read PDF brochures online in a handy flash format (think YouTube for PDFs).
- All uploaded PDF brochures are fully indexed and searchable
- PDFs can be downloaded by guests
- All PDFs are organised by tags (categories).
- All documents are syndicated to the popular Scribd.com document sharing platform for additional visibility.
- Uploaded documents are localised on a map for display in online maps. See this Austria.info map and select “Brochures” for an example.
- Get in-depth statistics about the numbers of views, downloads and orders, by brochure or total, for yesterday/last week/last month/always.
Organise mail order of your brochures
- Make all brochures orderable by mail.
- Individual orders of more than one brochure by a person are collected in the backend and handed over to you twice a day: Once by night (to be sent out in the morning) and once at 2pm (to be sent out still the same day).
- Data transfer to your logistics system can happen over a number of technical ways, including text and XML by email or FTP. Integration of automatic processing by a CRM such as SAP Dynamics is easiliy feasible.
- Delivery can be limited to certain number of brochures, to specific countries, to a maximum number of brochures per ordering person and day or even to a maximum order weight per ordering person and day.
Go beyond your organisation: Service the tourism industry!
- Give tourism businesses and local TMOs in your area access to the brochure platform, let them upload their own brochures.
- Let them control if they want to offer mail order of brochures, optionally limited by amounts.
- Delivery can be organised by your logistics facilities or by the businesses themselves – then they receive order emails, humanly readable plus XML attachments for automated processing.
Bonus: Let your users advertise for you!
